Site Construction Management
Weather the project involves challenging earthwork, rock blasting and handling, remediation, horizontal boring or utilities; Site & Foundation has experience predicting needed unit operations, critical paths and economic solutions to minimize costs and manage construction of proposed designs. Through personnel with engineering backgrounds and first hand experiences managing civil and mining projects Site & Foundation offers management services that exceed typical management of site development.

Digitized Earthwork
Using software capable of importing existing, proposed and construction grades earthwork quantities can be accurately predicted. These quantities can be made relative to existing topsoil, pavement layers and proposed sub grades. Boring log and test pit data can also be entered to characterize existing soil layers, rock and ground water elevations. By taking these existing and proposed conditions into account, earthwork quantities required can be accurately predicted.

Site Development Cost Estimation
Accurately forecasting the scope, duration and cost of proposed work. Develop cost information business owners, managers, general contractors or sub contractors need to draft or evaluate a bid for a contract. Costs are evaluated on predicted unit operations and the labor, machinery and materials needed to complete those unit operations.

Value Engineering
Site & Foundation Services offers services that can lower costs of an on going or proposed project.
Some examples are:

Site Balancing
After evaluating proposed grading plans an alternate plan can be derived that limits or eliminates unit operations such as exporting surplus materials. In many cases the proposed site or portion of the site can be adjusted (via digitizing software) to obtain this outcome without altering proposed design inverts for sewers and building slab elevations.

On Site Crushing
When dealing with a site that requires rock fragmentation, a cost saving alternate may be to crush and classify the fragmented material on site. This could decrease or remove entirely disposal costs while providing specified aggregates and fills for the project.
